Durable Flooring Systems

Durable Flake Epoxy Systems
For Any Space

Slip-resistant, impact-resistant, and incredibly easy to maintain — flake systems are the gold standard for high-traffic environments.

What Are Flake Systems

The Proven Standard for High-Traffic Floors

Vinyl flake broadcast systems — also known as chip flooring — are one of the most popular and proven epoxy flooring solutions for garages, basements, and commercial spaces. The system consists of a solid epoxy base coat, a broadcast layer of colored vinyl chips, and a durable clear topcoat that locks everything in place.

The vinyl flakes serve multiple purposes beyond aesthetics. They add natural texture to the surface, providing excellent slip resistance underfoot. The speckled pattern also hides minor scuffs, dirt, and imperfections beautifully, making it one of the most practical flooring choices for high-traffic areas.

We offer dozens of color blends and three flake sizes, allowing for nearly unlimited customization. The thick, multi-coat system creates a floor that can withstand heavy vehicle traffic, forklift loads, chemical spills, and years of daily abuse — all while still looking sharp.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Most two-car garages can be completed in 1–2 days. Day one covers surface prep and the base coat; day two is the flake broadcast and clear topcoat. We minimize your downtime so you can get back to using your space quickly.
Flake systems are more affordable, more forgiving in high-traffic areas, and offer excellent slip resistance. Metallic epoxy is a more premium, artistic finish — both are extremely durable. We'll help you choose the right system during your free consultation.
Yes! We offer full broadcast (100% coverage for maximum texture) and partial broadcast (allows the base coat color to show through for a different aesthetic). Our team will show you samples of both options.
All our flake systems include a premium clear polyaspartic or polyurethane topcoat. This topcoat locks the flakes in place, creates a smooth surface profile, adds gloss, and is the primary protection layer. Single-coat systems without topcoat are not something we offer.
Minor hairline cracks are filled and repaired during surface preparation before any coating is applied. Larger structural cracks may require more extensive repair. We'll evaluate your concrete during the free on-site consultation and discuss your options.
