About the System

What Is Solid Color Epoxy?

Solid color epoxy systems deliver a clean, uniform finish that transforms dull concrete floors into polished, professional surfaces. Using industrial-grade epoxy coatings, we achieve a consistent, high-gloss or matte sheen that reflects light and dramatically improves the look and feel of any space.

Unlike decorative systems that rely on patterns or effects, solid color epoxy is all about pristine uniformity. The result is a floor that looks professionally finished, is easy to maintain, and pairs beautifully with modern, minimalist, or industrial design aesthetics. It's a timeless look that never goes out of style.

Our solid color systems are applied in multiple coats for maximum depth and durability — a moisture-barrier primer, a full-build color coat, and a protective clear topcoat. The finish is completely seamless, with no grout lines or joints to trap dirt or bacteria, making it a top choice for medical facilities, food prep areas, and gyms.

Choose Your Finish

Gloss, Satin, or Matte — You Decide

High Gloss

Maximum light reflection creates a mirror-like surface. Makes spaces feel larger, brighter, and more premium. The most popular choice for showrooms and retail.

Satin

A semi-gloss finish that balances elegance with practicality. Less prone to showing footprints and scuffs while still providing a refined, professional appearance.

Matte

A flat, non-reflective finish for a contemporary, understated look. Popular in modern residential interiors, boutique retail, and design-forward commercial spaces.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Floor paint is a thin, surface-level coating that chips, peels, and fades within 1–3 years. Solid color epoxy is a thick, penetrating coating system that bonds chemically to the concrete substrate. It's significantly harder, more durable, and will outlast paint by decades with proper installation.
Yes. We can mix custom colors to match specific paint codes, brand colors, or material samples. Bring us your color reference and we'll do our best to match it. Custom colors may require a small additional lead time for material ordering.
Standard epoxy is not recommended for exterior areas due to UV exposure. For outdoor spaces like pool decks and patios, we recommend a UV-stable polyaspartic system instead. Ask about our exterior coating options during your consultation.
Foot traffic is typically safe within 24 hours after the final topcoat is applied. Vehicle traffic requires 72 hours of full cure. We'll give you specific timeline guidance based on your project's product system and ambient conditions.
High-gloss finishes do show footprints and fine dust more than matte or satin finishes. If this is a concern, we recommend a satin or matte topcoat, or adding a small amount of anti-static additive. Our team will advise on the best option for your space.
